After years of development and anticipation, Masters of the Air—Spielberg and Hanks’ miniseries portraying the European air war in World War II—finally airs tomorrow night.
From the beginning, I’ve been telling—and pitching—the story of the Eager Beavers in part by how much their theater of war contrasted with that of their counterparts in Europe, as well as the contrast in recognition.
The occasion of Masters seemed an appropriate time to make a video highlighting those contrasts, for those who aren’t familiar.
